ION TAPE EXPRESS MAKES REDISCOVERING CASSETTE TAPES FUN

Portable Tape Player Features USB-MP3 Output and Headphones

Cumberland, R.I. (Jan. 6, 2010) –ION (www.ionaudio.com), a leader in consumer audio and entertainment technology, announces TAPE EXPRESS, a portable tape-to-MP3 conversion player with headphones. ION will introduce TAPE EXPRESS at the Consumer Electronics Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Central Hall Booth 11714, Jan. 7-10, 2010.

TAPE EXPRESS enables anyone to turn their cassette tapes into MP3s and listen on their computer, iPod or in the car. TAPE EXPRESS is a portable, handheld USB tape player that works with all formulations of cassette tapes. It has an easy-to-use USB connection for sending the music on tapes into users’ computers, where it is instantly turned into MP3 files.

TAPE EXPRESS is designed with today’s on-the-go lifestyle in mind. Its portable design fits in virtually any bag and enables users to play and transfer music anywhere. It runs on battery or USB power when connected to a computer for flexible operation. The package also comes with large, comfortable headphones for on-the-go music enjoyment.

TAPE EXPRESS comes with ION's exclusive EZ Tape Converter software. This powerful, yet easy-to-use program guides users through transferring their music and even can integrate with their iTunes Music Library.

“TAPE EXPRESS is the easiest and most portable way to digitize your cassette tapes,” said Gregg Stein, Managing Director, ION. “Not only can you playback and listen to those classic cassette tapes with the included headphones, but you can also transform your old music into modern MP3s and take it anywhere you go.”

TAPE EXPRESS will be available from ionaudio.com during Q2 2010.
