Licensed by Ford Motor Company, ION’s Mustang classic car-styled stereo speaker features Bluetooth streaming, powerful stereo sound and exclusive Mustang “speedometer” dashboard look.
Cumberland RI, USA (January 6, 2018)—ION Audio, a leader in lifestyle consumer electronics, today announced the introduction of its new Ford-licensed Mustang Stereo speaker. This stylish unit combines the look of the classic Mustang “speedometer” dashboard, wireless Bluetooth® streaming and powerful stereo sound that will fill any room, workspace or man cave with rich, vibrant music, while it evokes the look and feel of the classic mid-60’s Ford Mustang.
The tuning dial looks just like the speedometer of the original 1965 Ford Mustang, right down to being flanked by round dials on either side. It’s got a great sound system with two 3-inch full-range speakers and a rear-firing bass radiator for exciting, booming sound that is quite unexpected from a small package. A sensitive AM/FM radio completes the system. The tunes keep playing all day long, thanks to its long-lasting rechargeable battery.
The Mustang Stereo is the latest in a series of products in the ION and Ford partnership, which leverages the creativity, engineering excellence and drive for innovation that makes each company a leader in its respective field. Quality, style and performance are the hallmarks of this collaboration.
“We are extremely enthusiastic about our partnership with such an iconic and prestigious global brand as Ford,” said Paul Buckley, Vice-President of Marketing at ION Audio. He added, “The Mustang Stereo is a perfect example of the synergy between the two companies. Bold, exciting looks with that iconic Mustang flair, great sound and thoughtful functionality—this product has all the right stuff.”
U.S. retail will be $119.
It will be available in Q2, 2018.
